Let's first begin with identifying some of the most common obstacles that can interfere with achieving all that we desire in life. Since early childhood many of us are brought up to believe in certain things about success and how to actually succeed.
This has ultimately meant that for the masses we have core beliefs instilled within us that don't exactly have our best intentions in mind. These core beliefs would read as follows:
We accept the level of success our parents experienced as we grow. Upon completing our education we then find ourselves holding down our first real job. These traditional core beliefs would then lead us to believe that we should dedicate ourselves and focus on excelling within the company or perhaps transferring the skills to another employer for further advancement or income potential. This will be the first major mistake that many of us will make by instinctively following this particular set of deep routed beliefs.
This I should make perfectly clear is not a particularly bad thing as many people are satisfied in life without ever breaking beyond the designation of employee. Who this actually affects most are those who travel down this exact road but are very unhappy with the outcome of their lives on a whole.
These unfortunate souls are the dreamers the ones who always fantasized about doing something more in life but due to their restrictive beliefs about what they thought was actually possible for them to achieve they failed to act.
This is touching on the core belief system mentioned earlier. Core beliefs are instilled in all of us, some have beliefs that limit there personal outcomes while others have a belief system that truly encourages them to shoot for the stars any beyond without question.
If you take just one piece of advice from this article it's the simple fact that whether you believe you can do something or you believe you can't... your right.
One can change their core beliefs of what's actually possible through acquiring knowledge and finding examples of others who have already achieved what it is in life they want most. The ability to change and adapt our core belief system is what makes the human brain so extraordinary. We have all become excellent at justifying where we are in life and why. Alternatively we all have the power within us to adopt a belief system that nurtures huge and immediate change to what we believe is possible.
Becoming complacent when it comes to how we earn a living or contemplating why we never followed our dreams in the first place is where many people find themselves at some point in life's journey.
Generally this all boils down to fear:
  • We fear if we try we might fail so why try?
  • We fear if we try something new we may lose our steady pay check
  • We fear all that we would be giving up if we quit our job to peruse a dream
When it's written down staring you in the face it's extremely easy to see how your core beliefs can hold you back. Rather than immediately gravitating towards the positive most will jump on the negativity train virtually without a second thought. Why not try this instead:
  • Fear of failure, so what failure is nothing more than an opportunity to try again.
  • Fear of losing that steady pay check, why not consider the possibility of becoming independently wealthy through entrepreneurism.
  • Fear of what you would be giving up, why not immediately bring to mind all the great things you stand to gain.
One can clearly see it's all a matter of perspective and how you choose to interpret the possibilities in life. The dreaded comfort zone is an extremely hard place to break free from and many never will. When you consider entrepreneurialism as your path forward consider the possibilities and the countless opportunities you are able to create for yourselves when you eliminate fear from the equation.
Take what you've read hear today and start to create positive change towards what you really want in life. The only thing holding you back is the fears you've created within your own mind. I recently saw a documentary about the late Steve Jobs the founder of Apple who in an earlier interview made a remarkable observation about life. He went on to say that life truly opens up when you realize that absolutely everything that surrounds you in life was created by someone no smarter or more talented than you yourself. These are words that any entrepreneur should live by, never doubting their ability to have a huge affect on the world around them.
