History sometimes is described as a fable, sometimes as a
tragedy, sometimes as an inspiration and sometimes as a fact of fame. No
matter what it is history always counts. History can be a source of
development or a source of destruction based on the perception of
mankind. For example if we choose to learn from our mistakes the mankind
can be prone to development as well as peace but if we choose not to
learn and repeat the same mistakes of our ancestors-may it be the
foolishness of war or insensible treatment of our nature- then yes we
are at loss.
Recently as the topic of global warming has surfaced as the top eye-grabber, the fact that we are mercilessly assaulting our nature has come to light. Now all we can do is to teach our next generation that they do not have to be like us as everyone wants his child be but to be a bit more sensible.
History has always shown that invaders may occupy a foreign land for a time but no one can hold the occupied territory unless the invader adapts to the native conditions. Like the Mughals. They came to Hindustan, occupied it and stayed here from thereon. But the Britishers - who overturned as we can say the "native" Mughals-occupied and tried to force down their traditions, ideas and rules. They were made to run back on there heels-but not before they had exploited the wealth of India.
Now in our case we are the Brits and the nature is India. If we do not want be punished we have to be like the Mughals-adapting to situations and not exploiting the nature. The stake is much too high in our case-the future of our whole mankind.
If we continue like this then our next generation will be forced to live in disastrous conditions. A pleasant walk might be a difficult scenario. With the environment polluted walking free would be as dangerous as a dog bite. People may have to wear a mask like to shield to protect life. everyday might become a virtual war. Marine life will get disturbed. Ecological imbalance occurs. And when natural calamities strikes no mask will be able help us. What can help us against the wrath of the thing from which everything is derived. As is famously considered the nature cares for us and if do not care for it in return, the nature's care has to turn itself into violent form to teach us its importance.
